$28 MILLION HARBORPLACE DEVELOPMENT PLANNED FOR KENOSHA'S SOUTHPORT MARINA
KENOSHA, Wis. Groundbreaking is anticipated in July for HarborPlace, a $28 million upscale condominium and retail development adjacent to the Southport Marina on Kenosha’s lakefront.
Scheduled for occupancy in July 2007, HarborPlace will include 58 residential condominium units and 43,000 square feet of retail space. Direct Development & Construction Inc. of Green Bay is the project’s developer and general contractor.
“The Southport Marina district is undoubtedly the most beautiful and premier waterfront location in Kenosha,” said John Hopfensperger, president of Direct Development & Construction Inc. “We’re ecstatic to see our vision become a reality, and are confident that the community, condominium owners and merchants will love HarborPlace.”
HarborPlace will feature a pedestrian-friendly environment set amidst seven buildings. The ground floor Shoppes at HarborPlace will house an eclectic offering of specialty stores and services, while town homes and condominium urban lofts will provide spectacular waterfront views.
With convenient access to the businesses of HarborPlace as well as the boat slips of Southport Marina, residents and business owners alike will appreciate the luxurious simplicity this development offers.
Residential leasing is through At Properties (312-334-8342), with retail leasing handled by CEG Leasing Group (614-799-8179).
